Why it is hard

Why healthcare data is harder than it looks.

A scraped list can look complete and still be wrong. These are the five problems we plan for, and how we handle each.

The problem

Directories cap their results.

Healthcare directories show only the first few pages of results for each search, so a single query sees only a slice of a market.

How we handle it

We split the search by specialty, city and postcode so coverage is complete, and each run reports how many providers it found.

The problem

The same provider is listed in many places.

One practice can appear in several directories, under different names, addresses and phone numbers.

How we handle it

We match records by name, address, phone and website, and by NPI where it is published, then merge them into one record that keeps every source.

The problem

Details go stale.

Providers move, merge, close and change their hours and services, so a directory is out of date within months.

How we handle it

Scheduled re-checks store every change with a timestamp and mark providers that disappear. Every record carries first-seen, last-seen and last-checked dates.

The problem

Prices are published in messy formats.

Hospitals, clinics and pharmacies publish prices as web pages, PDFs and spreadsheets, and call the same service by different names and codes.

How we handle it

We extract prices from whatever format the source uses, normalize service names and codes, and store the currency, source and date with every price.

The problem

Sites block and change.

Large directories use bot protection and redesign their pages, and scrapers quietly return half the rows.

How we handle it

Every pipeline is monitored with row-count and field checks. When a site changes or blocks us, we fix it. Maintenance is part of the service.

How it works

From your list of directories to a clean provider dataset.

Tell us what you need

Share the directories or websites, the specialties and regions, and the fields. A short call or a message is enough.

See a free sample

Within 24 hours of the call, depending on the sources, you get a sample from your own sources. You see the fields, the quality and the refresh rate before you commit.

Pick the schedule

One-time, weekly, monthly, or as often as you need. We scope the price once you have seen the sample.

Receive and rely on it

Data arrives as CSV, JSON, Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, in your database, through an API or in cloud storage. We monitor it and fix what breaks.

Common questions

Straight answers.

What teams ask before they start.

What healthcare data can you collect?

Provider and facility listings with names, specialties, locations, business contact details, services, accepted insurance, telehealth options, ratings and prices. On request we also collect clinical trial listings and public registry records such as NPI and licensing data. Tell us the fields you need and the free sample shows what is possible.

Can you collect prices for procedures, tests and drugs?

Yes, wherever they are published: hospital price lists, clinic fee pages, pharmacy and drug prices, and lab test prices. Each price is stored with its currency, source and date, so you can compare providers and track changes over time.

Can you track changes in ratings, prices and availability?

Yes. We re-check your sources on a schedule from hourly to monthly and store every change. You get rating history, price history and delisting dates, not just a snapshot.

How do you handle the same provider in several directories?

We match listings by name, address, phone and website, and by NPI where it is published, and merge them into one record that keeps every source. Anything we cannot match with confidence is marked, not guessed.

Which directories and regions can you cover?

Large national directories, hospital and clinic websites, pharmacy sites and small local practices, in any country and language. If a source is not practical, for example because of heavy blocking, we tell you upfront, before you commit to anything.

Is scraping healthcare websites legal?

We collect publicly available data only. Rules differ by country and by site, a site's terms may restrict automated access, and personal details such as clinicians' names and contact details need extra care under laws like GDPR. We flag risky sources and fields before we build. We are not lawyers, so for sensitive uses we recommend checking with your own counsel.

How do I receive the data, and what does it cost?

CSV, JSON, Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, your own database, an API or cloud storage, on a schedule you choose. Pricing depends on sources, volume and frequency. We scope it after a free discovery call and sample. Most samples are ready within 24 hours of the call, depending on the sources.
